Johnnie Morris Moore II professionally known as Naki The Beatman or J. Moore is an American Record Producer, Songwriter, Radio Personality, Imaging Producer & DJ was first heard on Chicago's WGCI where he served as Creative Director for "The Crazy Howard Mcgee Morning Show". He also hosted his own weekend radio show as he worked seven days a week. Naki then co-hosted nights on Chicago's WPWX Power 92 along with co-host Trey, The Choklit Jox Trey & Naki, became the #2 rated night show in Chicago. The two time Chicago Music Award "Producer of the Year" nominee created an outlet for unsigned Chicago artists at the time such as Kanye West, GLC & Lupe Fiasco, with a show called "The Power Hour". After the show’s success Naki/J. Moore pursued music full time and co-created the production company Life Music Group, earning a partnership with former Minnesota Timberwolves star Troy "T HUD" Hudson's company Nutty Boyz Entertainment/EMI.
Naki/J. Moore has produced/remixed music for some of the industry's best including 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Chance The Rapper, Big Pun, Nick Carter, Jordan Knight, Twista, Do or Die, Lloyd Banks, Ying Yang Twins, Syleena Johnson, Taylor Bennett and more. Naki has also lent his voice to MTV2/MTV Jams show "Hip Hop Slanguestics", then became the first "non-celebrity" to host "Sucka Free Sunday Video Countdown". Naki also hosted the groundbreaking radio show "Diggin In Da Crates" with Bay Area Legend DJ Billy Vidal on San Francisco's Q102.1 FM. He's currently Imaging Director and Owner of Sonically Sounds Imaging, a Violator Allstar DJ, Voting Member of The Recording Academy (The Grammys) Los Angeles Chapter, one half of the Chicago Bears game day radio broadcast production team, the mastermind behind the 2024 Chicago White Sox Theme Music "Bring The Noise" and Creative Imaging Producer for ESPN Chicago.
